Pennsylvania Humanities Council, Chester Made (2016-2018)
This humanities-based initiative recognizes and promotes arts, culture, and history in Chester, Pennsylvania to harness the power of the humanities as a force for community revitalization. Through a creative placemaking framework, Chester Made seeks to build the capacity of residents, local leaders, organizations, and artists.
During its first year with this project, CR&E is collaborating with project partners and residents to identify shared goals and desired outcomes. Using participatory and process evaluation techniques including storytelling and reflective feedback processes, CR&E will assist Chester Made as it grows and refines an emerging engagement process that values and centers broad participation leading to long term sustainable change.
