Pennsylvania Humanities Council, Chester Made (2016-2018)
This humanities-based initiative recognizes and promotes arts, culture, and history in Chester, Pennsylvania to harness the power of the humanities as a force for community revitalization. Through a creative placemaking framework, Chester Made seeks to build the capacity of residents, local leaders, organizations, and artists.
CR&E is adapting the Most Significant Change evaluation framework to help project partners and residents identify shared goals and desired outcomes. Using participatory and process evaluation techniques including storytelling and reflective feedback processes, CR&E is helping Chester Made refine an emerging engagement process that values and centers broad participation leading to long term sustainable change.
